Trip to the mall / visit with Santa

We went to the mall the week before Christmas. Greg promised he will never again go to the mall in December! The girls were not shy with Santa. We did not get a picture, we tried-had them take a few, but they were not very good and cost way too much - $25 for 1 sheet! Ridiculous! The girls rode on the train while we were waiting for Santa. They loved it!

First Snow

Last year we didn't have much play time in the snow. Already this year they decided that they love it!

Christmas Lights

We have lots of lights this year! The picture is a little blurry, but you get the idea!

Grandpa Arnold made Santa for the girls last year. This year he added "Santa -Stop here for Hannah/Taylor" signs. The girls ask daily how many more days until Santa comes. They don't understand why he comes in through the fireplace though.

Parker Christmas

December 5 - the Parker family got together for Christmas in Lafayette.

Visiting the Ahnerts

Dec 5 we went to Ahnerts to play with Ava and Elsie! They girls had a great time. 4 - 3 year old girls at once - WOW! I could not do quads!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

We went to Manito to get a real tree. The girls loved it! The tree farm was huge. After we picked our tree, we loaded it onto a huge tractor and it took us back to the barn. We had hot cider too!

In the basement we have an artifical tree. The theme is "outdoor/sports". To help light the tree, I made "redneck" christmas lights out of shotgun shells.
Looks pretty good!
